After 21 years of dedicated, loyal service to our school, our lovely secretary Mrs Mary Harrington has decided to retire. As part of our end of year ceremonies, we celebrated Mary’s huge contribution to Modeligo National School and she was presented with cards, gifts and a specially commissioned, commemorative plate. These items were presented by the pupils, staff, Board of Management and Parents’ Association in grateful appreciation of Mary’s long standing commitment to our school.

Most importantly, we also acknowledged Mr Jim Harrington, Mary’s husband, who is also retiring from his role as caretaker.  The whole school community is very grateful for Jim’s many years of commitment in keeping our grounds looking so beautiful, ensuring that our pupils always had a lovely place to play together.
